Dylan Martin | Color Guard Caption Head
This will be Dylan’s first year with the program. He attended Chino high school and graduated in 2016. Ensembles he participated in include the field & winter color guard, field band, wind ensemble, jazz band, and choir. His past marching history includes RCC marching tigers 2017-2018 , and the WGI independent World class group, Fantasia Winter guard 2018. Dylan has been an active pageantry educator since 2016, beginning at A.B. Miller high school. He has since worked with Fontana high school and is currently the Caption head Montclair high school and a tech at Woodbridge high school. He will also be joining the staff of Opal independent this upcoming winter season. Dylan looks forward to providing the members of Incognito with the best possible experience this year! 

Michael “Peachez” Xu | Visual Caption Head
Michael “Peachez” Xu was born and raised in Rowland Heights Ca. At a very young age movement and music caught his attention. As an educator he has taught at Sonora Hs, Garfield Hs, and Townsend JrHs. He was a Tuba player in Blue Devils B (2011-2013) and the Madison Scouts (2017). A visual performer with POW Percussion(2018) and Pulse Percussion(2019), and had some winterguard experience at Rowland High School. He is currently studying for an English degree so he can teach English around the world. “I’m very excited to be apart of the Incognito team this season. Just wait, trust the process, and let go of what you can’t control. You won’t see us coming!”

Kinh Tran | Front Ensemble Caption Head
Kinh Tran grew up in the bay area, but is now residing in Orange County. Its his first year working with Incognito, but he is no stranger to the program. He is a founding member (2008-2009) and Incognito winter program (2010). He is excited to be apart of this years instructional staff as the Front Ensemble Caption Head, as well as being a member of the design program. 

He has been involved with the marching arts since 2007 as a percussionist and guard member, competing in WGASC, ADLA, SCPA, DCI and WGI. His education comes from his private instructions from Sean Gordon, Charlene Doan, and Scott Tanaka. Kinh has been involved with OCI in the front ensemble (2012 + 2015) and POW front ensemble (2013).   Out side of marching, he is a cellist that performs in an occasional quartet, and participates in mallet ensemble productions with former wgi alumni. 

As an educator, he is the Head Percussions caption at Bolsa grande High School in Orange County, and provides private lessons for students within the district. He helps design shows and drill for his programs and has worked with other schools as a consultant .Kinh has his Bachelor of arts In Criminal Justice and Political Science from the University of Cal State Long Beach and is currently working in the pharmaceutical field.

Anthony Chavez | Assistant Corps Director
Anthony “Vandorus” Chavez has been with Incognito since the corps’ reemergence in the 2014 season. Starting off on bass drum, he then served as Drum Major for 4 seasons. Anthony aged out with both Incognito and Golden Empire in the 2018 season. He graduated from California State University, Fullerton in May of 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in History. He has recently completed his student teaching at Eleanor Roosevelt High School and the Single-Subject Credential Program at California State University, Fullerton. Anthony hopes to earn a Social Science teaching position in the Southern California area.

Tony T Nguyen | Corps Director
Tony T Nguyen “Incognitus” actually never wanted to teach but in 1999 he was asked to cover his alma mater drumline for a season until they found a replacement. His first year out, his students earned the divisional banner at championships.

Since then, he has taught at Mt. Carmel High School, Brea Olinda High School, La Quinta High School, Sonora High School, Garden Grove High School, Huntington Beach High School, Baldwin Park High School, Edison High School, San Marino High School, South Pasadena High School, Fullerton High School, and other local groups.

Tony is a drill designer. His visual designs has helped many schools earn the sweepstakes caption award for general effect and visual. He also instructs the students.

Depending on the band directors, he either arranges or compose original music for the marching bands and winter percussion. Tony’s programs have won the sweepstakes caption in music, percussion, high pit, high snares, high tenors, high basses, high cymbals, and much more.

Tony has been designing shows for circuits like SCSBOA, WBA, SCJA, CSBC, MBOS, SCPA, ADLA, WGI, and DCI.

In 2005 Tony formed and independent winter percussion group, Incognito Drumline. 2008, helped with forming Incognito Winter Guard. Also in 2008, He formed a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, The Music Life Foundation, in which Incognito Drum and Bugle Corps became an Open Class corps with Drum Corps International. After two seasons, Incognito Drum and Bugle Corps took a break.

2014, Incognito Drum and Bugle reemerged with Drum Corps International.
